As I was reading the comments (prior to watching the second video), someone mentioned that the voices sound 'slavic'. I thought to myself: "Egad, it can't possibly be the Russians again..."

But it is. I confirm it. Most of it is pretty garbled, but I could make out a lot of 'fuck you's (or their Russian equivalent thereof) from the crazy guy, "someone call the police" from an office worker, and "don' t just stand there - do something!" from some lazy bastard.

When he gets thrown off the table, he shouts 'You're all bitches'.

Sab, granted the voices in the video are not too clear, but it's fairly easy to tell Spanish apart from Russian (or 'slavic', as it were). 'Por favor's aside, the security guard at the end clearly says: 'vse, vse, ubrali telefoni' ('that's it, that's it, put away your phones').

And I'm totally serious about the 'bitches' line.

I'm from Mexico and It's my natural language so you could say I'm pretty confident on my skill to hear and understand it quite well, no matter the accent... and at no point in the second video does anyone say "por favor" or anything in particular that I'm able to translate into Spanish. I'm aware RussianinMoscow had cleared out this before, I'm just curious on how could anyone confuse the two languages. I'm not fluent at Russian, but speak some polszczyzna (which if I remeber right has a slavic root) and the phonetics are VERY different.

My brother is a talent scout that constantly makes trips overseas, and he said that is a Russian Improv group, called "ленивый человек." It roughly translates to 'The Lazy People.' They are similar to the Upright Citizens Brigade, from a few years ago. They perform a sketch-comedy show once a month, and this was one of their clips. He said that it should have been obvious since (1 )the guy in the walkway backs out of the way right before the first monitor gets thrown, (2) the fact that the monitors aren't connected to anything, (3) nobody leaves, (4) the sounds of the taser were added to the video (think about it: when you watch COPS, the tasers don't sound like that. they click. Also, they're so clear on the cellphone camera).

So yeah, not Spanish, definitely Russian (or some form of Slavic). The video is real, and I feel sorry for those who got hurt in the incidental filming of these videos. Having said that, I too have had a cube job...one was in sales, and another in data entry. I would do ANYTHING I could to not go nuts on others, including taking my shoes off, trying to read my already-read personal emails (for which I kept getting in trouble for), and getting up for water, offering to do the rounds, and a fart break (I don't smoke, so I had to make something up).

I feel this guy's pain, but still, that's no excuse for what he did. I'm just glad he didn't work at a post office (which from what I understand is worse).

Maybe this guy had been working there for a long time (since he was a teenager) and the guy who bent over to pick up the papers broke the news to him that the promotion he'd been waiting for and working towards for some years was given to the woman to his left (read: the one who had a monitor thrown at her)...who knows.

1-cables are there. You have to take a second to look for them (also on one of the other vid angles its pretty visible).

Also he never throws the monitors at anyone, just at other things. The first monitor he throws at the "woman in the chair's" monitor, and it crashes to the ground. The 2nd one look slike hes throwing it at the wall, but the cord pulls it down. At some offices they do have very long cables on monitors.
