Jun 24 2008Origami Iron Man Is Impressive, A Geekologie Reader's Own Design (Making It Even Better)

ironman-1.jpg

Brian Chan is a Geekologie reader than can fold paper like nobody's business. And here's a recent Iron Man creation of Brian's own design. "It is folded from a single uncut square of paper, and so is the mask." Hit the jump for a few more shots, including the mask and the paper templates that show you just how much folding was really involved (shit-tons). Good work, Brian. Say, I'm about to do a little paper folding of my own. Toilet paper that is -- I'm blogging from the can again! *flush*

Hit the jump for more images and a link to Brian's origami website, with lots more original designs (including tons of awesome bugs and animals).

Damn. Nice job, the only paper folding I do is when I fold my hard earned singles horizontally then vertically to make it as small as possible and shove them between an old flabby cesarian scar having stripper's boobies that resemble two used condoms filled with cottage cheese (one bigger then the other, I'm beginning to think that this is the standard). Any ways nice job. I'm going to try to do this and make a Green Lantern. . . maybe if its good enough the stripper will let me put it in her throat smoking hole . . . sexy.

awesome!
now, can you fold me some kind of girlfriend??? (my size favorably - but 10 year old will do)

Damn! now that is some talent.

if i had a vagina, id put that inside it.

Very Talented, I'm quite sure this kid could easily get a job designing burger wraps for various food chains. Millions of Teenagers would pay dearly to learn how to correctly wrap a burrito as well.

I know a kid that makes paper action figures. They're pretty amazing. myspace.com/paperactionfiguremanman

I can barely make a paper airplane...

The world is full of too many wannabe comedians, bring on the robo-zombie apocalypse.

This is the first thread I've ever seen that didn't flame whatever was being featured. I have a theory why: The featured item is a) pointless b) ridiculously cool c) time consuming to create d) super-geeky and e) made by someone who will actually read your comments and flame you back.

Well, huzzah to you, sir, for making the first flame retardant paper superhero!

And yes, it is definitely cool.

This is awesome. I can't believe its from one sheet that is not cut. good work.

If you haven't done so, check out his other work... also awesome.

That is freaking awesome. I kind of want to have his babies...

Nicely done.

#4: huh??

Did anybody else check out his site?
Amazing shit.

Crease patterns? I hate crease pattern!

Very neat, but why make it look like he's got a boner?

i think most of us have boners right now, why can't iron man?

Iron man's new space age suit utilizes the inherent awesomeness of paper as a stunning and brilliant defence systemby making his enemies stand in awe of his geekieness instead of shooting the living hell out of him! GENIUS!!!!

Iron Man rulz!!!!!!

I hope some douchenozzle doesn't try to ruin his rep with a stupid ironing man teeshirt.
