Jun 27 2008Boom Arm Starbase Workstation Allows You To Work Comfortably From Bed, Recliner, Can

The Starbase Alpha Boom Boom Room Workstation Arm thingy is ridiculously named and holds either a laptop or LCD monitor while you're playing with yourself in bed or asleep on the can.
Workstations available for use with either a Laptop computer(ST-03) or for use with an LCD Flat screen monitor(ST-04).
Key Benefits:
Use your computer in comfort
Use your computer from non-traditional places
Portable take it where you need it.
Both cost about $300 and you'll be ridiculed if you ever use one. Just like I was after posing for that picture there. And before you ask, yes, those are my pink sheets, and no, that's not a boner. Those are my toes. Wait -- I take that back. Freakin' huge.
Never get out of bed to blog with the Boom Arm Starbase Workstation [bbgadgets]

How do people sit in bed like that? It looks like he doesn't even have a pillow.

where I am told to "Maximize the relax" and or "Enjoy the relax"
We're fucked.

Yeah, cause that dude looks SOO comfortable. And fat. He looks fat. And dorky.
Why would I want one of these again?

Yes, because clearly taking the base of an office chair and sticking a jury-rigged boom on it is worth $300. Give me a break. I'm not convinced it would actually support the weight of a laptop way off center like that anyway. Stupid AND probably doesn't work.

Don't be afraid of the obvious. First it is laughable, then it is ridiculous.
And, after all, it is something that all laptop user are dreaming of...
..Kind of prototype, tough. Needs better looks, better engineering, and better model.

11. Steve, that's what I use... although it'd be nice to have a Boom Arm Starbase Workstation. It'd be nice to show my bed-ridden elderly grandmother some movies or pictures through my laptop and/or external monitor...

This is a gay topic about a gay product that is gayly over-priced. If anyone is really interested in purchasing what basically amounts to a "lap top cart", visit Corina's website located at http://www.carinafurniture.com
The split table design is great. One side houses the laptop while the other side acts as a bed side table
Walmart Canada had introduced the product a few weeks ago and I managed to purchase the lacquered black finish version for $39.00 plus tax. It's especially great for watching HD TV on the 17" laptop.
Unfortunately I checked Walmart Canada's web siite and it appears that Walmart has not restocked the item just yet.
If you're interested in purchasing the product, visit the following URL address:

keyword=laptop+cart&fuseaction=products.searchResults
They charge $110.20 for the mahogany or birch finish.

If you're too lazy to get out of bed to use your computer you deserve the heart attack you're invariably going to get 20 years early.

I have been to hospitals that serve patients food on a similar device, but the hospital version has more functionality.

This is kinda worthless for the most part. Lacks practicality.
