May 19 2008Vegeta From Dragon Ball Untooned
Despite my penchant for getting high and watching cartoons, I've never been into the Dragon Ball franchise. Although I may go see the live-action movie if I can sneak into the theater and throw moistened gummy bears at the screen while children cry. That could be fun. So yeah, here's Vegeta from the series in untooned form. Does he look good? I have no idea, I don't even know who Vegeta is. At first I thought he was a vegetarian sandwich at the local Cajun restaurant (UPDATE: turns out that's a vegelleta). Regardless, I think we can all agree on one thing -- my widow's peak puts his to shame. Seriously, ask anyone.

ehh... really not very good.
the other guy that's been doing the 'real' toons is Much, MUCH better.
this just looks like some photoshop amateur got bored when his mom took away his Xbox.

i didn't have a clue who this was, and i google'd it.. the dude in the anime is blonde. So how the hell is this even remotely accurate?

This one kinda sucks IMHO. This looks like Badger from Firefly after his face got stuck in Photoshop. Sucks is a strong word, but the others ahve been better.

Anyways, not very good. His eyes are supposed to be squarish...the bottom mouth part is not supposed to have creases on the side. Also the part above his eyelids is supposed to be pronounced and squarish. This face is too roundish. The ears and part of the hair look okay though.

His hair is naturally black but turns blond when reaching super sayan form.

super sayan mode = Super Saiyan mode. His hair turns gold on super saiyan levels 1, 2, and 3. Level 4 the hair turns black again.

Now, I'm not an anime fan at all. I've seen a few episodes of a few different series and it's alright...not my thing. I love the Japanese cultures, the food, the people, but I just never got into anime. Anyway, considering it's a 'toon' (short for "cartoon") it does still qualify to get "untooned." Having said that, he looks pretty intense. I'm just curious who he uses for each of his untooning projects.

I think it looks awesome. But then again, it is Vegeta. And he always looks good. Not as good as Bulma though. Too bad he won't actually be in the live action movie, it's based on Dragonball. Not Dragonball Z. Still, if the movie is a sucess there'll be a sequel. In which case the roll should definitly fall on Ray Park.

Vegeta is super cool but in this picture is like shit and i not agree ..... he`s not blond he is blond when he turns in to a super saien he gogu and the other saiens ! so he-s cool but not here in the cartoon movie :P
