May 28 2008'Perfect Woman' Robot Is Far From Perfect
Remember Aiko, the life-like wheelchair-bound robot woman that slapped you if you tried to touch her boobs? Yeah, that was wrong on every level possible. Well here comes another robot companion for men -- Lisa, the Perfect Woman. She can allegedly cook dinner and I really hope this is fake.
We created a technology called RKS, "Recognition Krax System", which allows for vocal, tactile and visual recognition. Lisa is able to recognize objects and persons and she can even differentiate between roses and tulips for example.
...everything started with a book called Love + Sex with Robots: the Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships by David Levy. I had always thought that one day technology would allow us to create a robot that would be able to perfectly imitate human behaviour. With Lisa we succeeded.
Well I've heard enough. Seriously, sex with robots is just wrong, period. Call me crazy, but what in the hell's the matter with good old fashioned analog sex with an inflatable sheep?
Another MUST MUST SEE video about a guy that allegedly fell in love with one of these, after the jump. Note: They block out his face and make him sound like he sucked down a helium tank so he can't be identified and ridiculed. And no, it's not me, I swear*.
*On the robotic life of my beloved Lisa.
UPDATE: As I had hoped this is strongly believed to be a hoax and an actual real-life woman. But I humped her anyway and she did start smoking out one of her ears. So what conclusion can we draw from this? I clearly have no idea where a woman's vagina is located.
Thanks Giulio, you get one first

Come on people, she's clearly an actress and the whole thing is a damn fake!

I'm normally not one to cry "fake!" but I'm with Stefano on this one. I suspected something was up from their lofty claims, the video of the guy that supposedly fell in love with her was pretty weak, and then seeing her for myself in the first video confirmed it. I didn't even watch the whole thing. It's a joke or some weird attempt at social commentary by a "modern" artist.

I wonder if the investors know! What are they doing with the money??

Okay I might be going out on a limb, but just voice was enough to make me want to punch her. I think they couldn't afford anything other than a deaf woman to stand in for the voice. I was waiting for her to say "bye for now" and hold up the "I love you" sign.
Perfect woman? really? Well if you look athe guys that invented/designed it, I guess it fits the bill. I'm thinking it should more look like ... well someone hot. And to prove she is the perfect woman, they should illustrate that she can go on all fours.... Oh crap did I really just write that?

I once fell in love with a robot. True story. Every morning she made me breakfast, late at night I'd come to her for a snack. She was always so warm, and her voice was like the sweet chiming of a bell. One day, when no one else was around, I decided to make my move. She was so warm inside, and I felt all a tingle. Then I realized my johnson was burning and the tingling was me being electrocuted. It was a disaster. That was the last time I'd ever fall for a robot... or stick my dick in a toaster.

@11, No shit clownboy! I think you're just mad because you fell for this obvious load of BS. Probably the same people that did the child bride site.
Anyway, there is a group that is actually building a real domestic companion. The site is called android world: http://androidworld.com/prod19.htm
Unfortunately they have been at it for a few years now and seemed to hit a wall in early 2007.

I wonder if she steals medication from old people and use them as fuel.

Oh god. If the Geekologie blog is going down the shitter with believing fake stories like this what will happen next?
16. bigjerm - May 28, 2008 1:46 PM
#15, is it a crime for the geekologie writer to want to believe in this?
17. Snoodle - May 28, 2008 2:33 PM
Does your robotic girlfriend Lisa live in a basement under the Millenium Centre in Cardiff by any chance....
Anyway, probably a viral campaign for...something...I just pray not another Stepford Wives remake.

In 200 years time, the robo gigolo from A.I. will look back and worship this ancestor of his...creepy
26. Bryan - May 29, 2008 10:48 AM
While no one has really given any specifics to completely prove this is fake, let me say this - right at the beginning you can clearly see her using her tongue to enunciate her words. A robot wouldn't need the use of a tongue to speak. So either this is fake, or this thing is from Cyberdyne Systems in the future.
27. guate6 - May 29, 2008 11:56 AM
I like how in the video, when he says "tactile" he points down, as in "to her crotch." If the investors were really investing in this, they wouldn't want to be made private, they would want it public for the sake of competition with other companies.
#26 has a good point: she does use her tongue to speak in the beginning. Yeah, she doesn't blink (in the video) but it's not real (duh). So a French guy and a Japanese guy get together to either promote something, or scam someone. "batteries not included," haha, great one. All the females in the commercial that luddites pointed out are real women. A real woman wouldn't be cocking her head back and forth, as it she couldn't hold it.
More real is the robot who gets pissed and punches you for grabbing her knockers...but still not human.

Haha, I can't believe you actually believed that. Technologically we are at least three years away from having female robots who will cook for us and have sex with us.
30. Jodey - June 10, 2008 6:20 PM
I am a 18 year old woman by looking at this i feel so discusted that female robots have been disigned to replace woman, this is puting a point across that females are only made to cook, clean, and stay behind the sink to house hold duty's. Should woman now say that they never have a headhake or that they are too tierd to perform tasks around the house incase of being replaced with a female robot. Me and other woman feel that this is degrading to all woman over the globe, us woman in real life come in different sizes and shapes with different minds and that is now being taken away from us and being replaced with perfection.
31. Cyberlong hot dog - July 24, 2008 7:10 PM
Yup, chicko. You are now yesterday's news. Now where's my fembot? I need her to clean the house and then off to bed!!! YEAH BABY! YEAH!!!
