Kyocera recently announced it has created a printhead capable of printing 1,000 A4 pages per minute at 600 x 600 dpi (~17 pages/sec!). That seems pretty damn fast. I can't recall the last time I needed 1,000 pages a minute, but it's for commercial applications anyways, and I hate commercials. Global sales of the head started this month, so they should be out there pretty soon. Oooh, this gives me a business idea. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
