Apr 3 2008April Fools' Zelda Trailer Made Me Sad, Angry
This is a trailer for a Legend of Zelda movie that was apparently made by IGN as an April Fools' joke. What in the hell is the matter with those sick bastards? Sure the World Of Warcraft thing was awesome, but joking about Zelda? I've killed people for far, far less. I'm trying to not care though. I've been telling myself that Link looks nothing like he should. I mean really, did you ever envision Link as a homeless smack addict? And Zelda? Don't get my started on her. She's far from the boner-inducing princess of my dreams. Looks like she got hit with the Triforce Of Fugly. That two-bit strumpet. I mean I'd still do her. Damn you IGN!

The meanest part of this joke is that it's even worse if you know it isn't real to begin with... because now I want a Zelda movie.... but you know, with good actors and CGI. =(

Seriously, this may be the best thing to ever happen to a possible Zelda movie. Kind of a "See, it can be done!" for the nay sayers. Just one tip; no Carrot Top lookalikes playing Link. Deal? Okay, deal.

For a fake trailer, that was pretty well done. Except Zelda looks like a butch Galadriel and has the worst fake British accent ever.

The spinning sword move is awesome though. I've been wanting a live action Zelda movie my whole life, but not if it is going to be like this ;_;

Aside from Link looking like the lovechild of Janet Jackson and Killface from Frisky Dingo, Ganondorf looks like the Wicked Witch with a lion's mane. I think they did a great job though and if it were real I would have totally seen it.
The trailer alone makes it more real that the Dragonball movie. Touche IGN.

i saw the vid... and knew it was a joke... =( boo.
there i was with my two cousins and my boyfriend, who i pulled away from call of duty 4 (not to say i don't play lol)... to show them and were just as disappointed....
how cruel.... i would smack one on the back of the head if i knew one of the people who thought of this crap.

Link looks like what a younger version of the modern Michael Jackson would look like (white, ugly nose and just plain ugly). Neat trailer though, I'd watch a Zelda movie if it came out...I think it'd be neat (unless it were made by Uwe Boll (sp?).

I remember reading a bout a LoZ fan made movie, oh so many years ago. They had just finished shooting all the live action stuff and going to spend about a year adding CG effects. Can't find it on a quick google. Will try a more thorough search.
The Link they got was a Swedish actor/acrobat that did his own stunts, the Zelda was a Japanese underwear model (or maybe I dreamt that part.)
