Mar 28 2008Watch Bears Sad Reminder, I Am Depressed

My life is filled with enough depressing thoughts as it is, so I don't have much interest in being reminded of my mortality whenver I want to know what time it is. But for you sickos out there that like thinking about your own death, maybe The Accurate Watch is for you. It costs $145 and features an hour and minute hand that, together, read "remember you will die". Wow, like my wife's handgun isn't reminder enough.

I was going to buy this until I saw the $145 price tag. $145?

You might find it depressing, but Connor MacLeod finds it rather funny.

Wouldn't it also be marketed towards those who are adventure freaks (I'm using "freaks" very very loosely) and want to live up every moment in life? Like "hell, why not, I can die any time, so I'm going to do this"
In any case, it's a bit morbid.

I was thinking, this would be good for all those people that need a little reminder that they are not the center of the universe... ;P

Not a good idea for those prone to self-fulfilling prophesies.

A memento mori timepiece! NICE.
I may just buy this, if only to remind myself to keep living. Because sometimes I forget.
