Feb 5 2008LEGO Bible: The Brick Testament

LEGO-bible.jpg

Apparently The Brick Testament has been a work in progress for over six years, but I'd never been made aware of its existence before, so here it is. With over 3,600 scenes from the Bible, all the classics are illustrated in awesome LEGO detail. I looked through a bunch of them and was pretty impressed with the work. I tried to find the one where the Twelve Apostles were throwing a party but forgot the booze and Jesus had to turn Peter's swimming pool into Jello shooters, but I guess they haven't done that one yet.

A bunch more pictures and a link to the whole gallery after the walk on water.

FRIST!!! Is that Qui-Gon playing the role of Jebus?

Why doesn't baby jesus have any arms or legs?

It also looks like the middle wise man has tear drop tatoos on his face..

LAME

Christians are pathetic, I mean really!

"The Law" section is HILARIOUS.

My particular favorite is "When to stone your family"

First off, jamBo is a douchebag. And second this is like 3 years old. Welcome to the internet Geekologie.

C''mon people, don't be disrespectful. If you're Christian, then there must be appreciation for this, and if not, as a geek, there must be some appreciation for this. I fall into both categories, so I find these amazing. I especially like all the people drowning in the flood scene. Baby Jesus has no arms/legs though...oh well, baby-lego people will come about some day.

Very nice work. (hopefully one day, a full-length stop-motion film of the Bible).

I think that baby JC has no arms or legs visible because he's wrapped in swaddling clothes (like it says in the bible).

and since it includes scenes from the old testament (which is way bigger than the new testament), I guess "Jews are pathetic, I mean really!".

Geekologie Writer: ...hope you don't get in trouble for posting the images on here...I personally think it's ok, but I hope these people don't get all pissy (it goes contrary to their web page the rights and what not).

If you've already looked into it, then never mind.

Writer #9 is a fucking suit-made-out-of-ass-skin dickmonger. Hope he gets around to shutting the fuck up.

#10: wtf? Clearly my feelings are hut and I shall no longer be posting on here because you, with your overpowering words have defeated me into submission. I wouldn't even dare go into a battle of wits with you, as I'm clearly not as well armed as you. Oh and tell your mother I said to stop calling me so much...it was fun a few times, but now it's just a bit weird.

My bad, I'm such a fucking retard. I actually took the time to read this and realized that geekologie is aware that this is old news:

"Apparently The Brick Testament has been a work in progress for over six years, but I'd never been made aware of its existence before, so here it is."

I should go back to sucking cocks for a living because i'm a faggot...

Christians are silly.. But lego is fun :].

all religions are silly (my opinion), that doesn't mean that people don't have the right to follow any/all of them, or make lego scenes of epic moments in religious history.

Baby Jesus is wrapped in a blanket - hence, no arms or legs. It's cold in those barns.

News: If you think all religions are "silly" then you've never had a deep thought in your life. Your existence is a shallow wallowing in sensory data, devoid of all higher purpose. And you know it.

That said, I've always thought that the Brick Testament was pretty silly.

oh plz plz tell me there's a LEGO Koran coming soon. (oooo i cant wait to see irrevocable discourse this invokes...)
