Jan 22 2008Tiny Bluetooth Adapter Will Get Lost Easily

tiny-bluetooth.jpg

Brando, maker of some of the best products of the century is actually producing a product with some use -- the ultra-tiny USB Bluetooth Adapter. The unit "allows for a working range of more than 10 meters, with a 723 Kbps data rate transmission." They run $24 and are very small. But don't worry -- while it is tiny, you'll still be able to locate the device in the dryer by the noise it makes while it bounces around in there. And on a completely unrelated note, this picture just gave me the idea for a great "get rich quick" scheme. You know what I'm thinking don't you? That's right, I'm going to print a million copies of this picture and pass the pennies off as real ones. Brilliant, I know. I certainly didn't get this "Good Eater" award because I'm stupid.

stupid

A neat way to add bluetooth to stoff that doesn't have it...it'd have been better if it were part of a hub (heh, almost spelled "hug"), so you wouldn't lose your usb port and you'd still get bluetooth.

This is a good idea. If I needed bluetooth on my other laptop. I would use something like this. I would put in on a sd card too. I use my sd card less than I use my usb port, but then again, I only have one sd card slot, but I have 3 usb ports.

That would be good for me, my last USB Bluetooth Adapter stuck out the front of my PC and lasted 2 days before I swiveled on my chair and kicked it with my big feet. I could plug that in and it's like it's not even there.

FAKE!
I don't believe the penny is real.

No, it's not fake. I have a friend who saw one once, and he said it's real. He even has video of it to prove it.

Things need to get bigger ...

Yeah, had one twice that size - can't find it (the bluetooth adapter - not the penny).

Things need to get bigger ...

I like the idea
