Jan 15 2008Hate Waking Up: Fire Bell Alarm Clock Hack

fire-alarm-clock.jpg

I don't have trouble waking up in the morning because I have a cat that lets me know it’s time to rise by sticking his b-hole to my face. But if you don't have such a considerate cat then maybe you need something a little more serious. How about a fire bell alarm clock? I can guarantee it's loud enough to wake you up or give you a heart attack. While it looks pretty easy to make, I wouldn't suggest it unless you're really hard of hearing or just hate life. While I may install one in my girlfriend's shed to ensure she's not late for work, I'll be sticking (literally) to my kitty’s suction a-hole alarm.

Video tutorial after the jump.

That's on some serious shit.

Can you get it without the "We're a real country, I swear!" Canadian attidude?

We are a real country asshat.

I can relate...sort of. My cat smacks me in the face repeatedly until I wake up, and nothing pisses her off more than me sleeping past sunrise. She lets me know this by biting my nose.

And that alarm clock would be good for pissing off/killing off the neighbors, which is why I have my credit card in hand. Just let the police try and pin a heart attack and blown ear drums on me.

"Asshat" that's funny......I would have gone with "ass-toque" to give it some of that "Canadian attitude".

You know what this alarm clock needs? More "cowbell"

#6, lol.

He forgot to end with "eh" :(

It's not as loud (in the video) as I would have thought. It's about as loud as my alarm clock that has real working bells (instead of plastic-for-show bells).

Reminds me of 8th grade, and knowing it was lunch.

whenever i hear the word bells, i always think of balls, then i laugh and never get anything done....
