Jan 3 2008For Photogs/Pervs: Camera Phone Telescope

The Brando (not again) Mobile Phone Telescope was made specifically for Motorola RAZRs and KRZRs and attaches to the phone for 6x magnification. They run $19.
Overcome the short coming of camera cellphone that can only near-sighted, it also makes distant view for you at the moment. The new design to run of rays can effectively avoid the contortion of image, and makes the super wide angle, the larger luminous flux, the higher visual acuteness, good for color reduction, which makes the high quality of photography. It can take a picture while fixing the telescope on back shell. (If the screen of your cellphone is analyzed degree enought, you can adjust the focus with the screen of the cellphone).
Well there you have it folks, straight from Brando, a bunch of shit that doesn't making any sense. I thought for sure they'd mention that putting the thing in your pocket would make it look like you have a raging mini-boner. Which is why I bought one, and I don't even own a Motorola.

These have been out for a while, and for other phone models, too.

this has been out for a while for the Nokia N95 (the king of smart phones) and actually works quite well. Since the N95 has a 5MP camera it's useful but I doubt you'd want it for a crappy phone like the razor

If you're going to care enough to buy/carry this massive lens attachment, odds are you're smart enough to just buy a friggin' camera and carry that around instead.

I'm glad you pointed out that the description doesn't make any sense, because I was starting to think somebody put something in my sandwich over lunch. Though if it was the new hot receptionist here, I'd be pretty OK with that. She can take advantage of me any time.
And by take advantage I mean date-rape.
Opportunity knocks.

I'm agreeing with mostly everyone in that the description doesn't make sense. I can attest to its non-sense-making, as I am a photographer (amongst other things), and because the grammar and diction make no sense too. First of all, it's "image distortion" not "contortion." Second, they contradict themselves, saying that it "makes distant view" (telephoto), and then say it "makes the super wide angle), which judging from the lens length, is impossible. Also, "color reduction" does NOT make high quality pictures, it's the ED lenses that reduce "color aberration" that make better pictures.
Aside from these technical stupidities, the description itself makes no sense. If I saw anyone with one of these, I'd say "here's your sign" (yes, that's a Bill Ingvall reference).
