Dec 11 2007Newspaper Brick Maker Starts Fires

If you have a fireplace and can't get a good blaze going (you're a little girl), maybe you should consider the Newspaper Brick Maker. It costs $30 and turns old newspapers into firestarting bricks of goodness. It might make you feel better than you would if you just threw old newspapers away without recycling them. I must say, I received one as an early Christmas gift from my girlfriend and it works great -- as a meatloaf mold. The idiot failed to notice the house we've lived in for two years doesn't have a fireplace.
Note: It's almost time to start accepting new girlfriend applications again. I'm just waiting to see the look on her face when she opens her Christmas present -- a set of keys to a sports car that doesn't exist. After that I'm dropping her.

@1, some of us haven't been around for 30 years so might not know about these. That being said it would make an easier way to get rid of your newspapers even if you don't have a fireplace. Sure beats tieing them up to put out for pickup.

3. cause you're 12, which means you just haven't had your eyes open long enough in the real world to se anything other then these websites..
get your fat chunky little lazy ass off the chair and go outside, go walk through walmart, cause i'm sure you live near one, and look around. these have been around for a while..
not to mention, "sure beats tieing them up to put out for pickup"
F-that! i'd rather spend the 17 seconds to tie it up then wet the paper, shove it in this thing, let it dry, then put it out.. that sounds like an f-ing pain in the ass...
kinda like you!

If you recycle newspaper by burning it, is that really recycling? On the one hand, it doesn't go into a landfill. On the other, you add pollution to the air. Not what I would call earth friendly.

@4 I'm far from 12 and wish I could say far from 30 as well but I'm still under it damnit. Can't go outside cause I'm stuck at work and Walmart is a SCARY ass place to walk through which is why I've never seen one. The one by me in South Jersey (read Hicks) is full of wierd ass people with no teeth that wonder around talking to themselves so since you wrote that and are there for sitting on your lazy ass in front of a computer as well why don't you get your ass up and go outside. Maybe I get enjoyment out of wetting paper and then mashing it into a brick so keep your tied up fetish to yourself

#5 - well, when you breathe you're releasing carbon dioxide, which is also a pollutant, so if you stop breathing, I'll stop burning things. deal?

Also something useful for starting fires. You can use a empty toilet paper roll and stuff it with dryer lint and if youre feeling fancy you can cover it with a piece or two of newspaper and just tuck the ends in. Theres a 3 in one answer for recycling!

Hey! I would be happy to take this off your hands. We have two fireplaces and I could surely use this device. Thanks!
