Dec 13 2007Man Converts Cordless Drill To Tesla Coil

handheld-tesla.jpg

The picture above shows a cordless drill a man modded into a little handheld Tesla Coil. As is evident from the picture, the little coil is great for things like, um, making a light bulb glow like a plasma globe. Neat buddy, but can you mod a cordless drill to put holes in wood and other objects? Because that, my friend, would be frickin' sweeeeeet.
Video of the coil in action after the shock.

Big Deal. I did the same thing to my wifes dildo. Without telling her. It aborts babies in a new, exciting way! Call me!

You'd think a place called "Tech Blog" would know the difference between a Tesla coil and a Van De Graff generator.

But Van De Graff never had a 80's hair band named after him, so all things cool and electrical shall now be known as Tesla-somethings...

Ummm... Van De Graff generators don't usually have induction coils, look at the fat one at the base and the thin copper one going up the rest of it. Kinda looks like a Tesla coil to me.

It sorta looks like a dildo, but it's still cool. (Either way someone's going to get some fun out it!)

"...but can you mod a cordless drill to put holes in wood and other objects without the use of a power cord? Because that, my friend, would be a sweet freaking mod."

um...what? So you just challenged this person to make a CORD-LESS drill, drill into wood and other objects WITHOUT the use of a power cord. Ok. Done.

Anyway, as for this gadget, It'd be neat to mess around with. I strongly advise NOT using it as a dildo, as it would shred anything it's inserted into.
