Nov 14 2007MP3 Player For Dogs Is Gold, Gaudy, Fugly

Korean company Innobitz has released the JooZoo, which is a gold and diamond encrusted MP3 player for dogs. It's supposed to "enhance your pet’s physical health and relieve stress through automatic content responding to various pet behaviors." Or make it kill itself if you blast death metal. Currently only available in Korea, it's going worldwide soon with a price tag of $1,500-$2,000. If you're one of those people that paints their dog and dresses them up and shit like that then maybe this is for you. My dog won't be opening one of these on Christmas though. He's getting the same thing he gets every year. Dog food. Maybe some water if he doesn't piss in the house between now and then.

Well, at least now we know dogs will eventually be mugged and murdered in dark alleys like the rest of us.

"JooZoo?"
What, like Krakow and Warsaw? Score 2 points for Korean cultural sensitivity

ok so @1 if you see someones dog with this mug them and leave the dog alone because the owner deserves to be beat and @2 I definitely had to read your comment twice before realizing what you meant but that's messed up, damn koreans

Koreans, they build a USD 1500 gold MP3 player for dogs? I've heard they eat dogs.

The idea seems interesting to me. not the gold encrusted crap, but mp3 player for your dog. would be cool if it had different genres of music to choose from and big ole button on a contol pad that your dog could lean down and operate with his foot. Then you could have a chance to see which music your dog prefers.

I used to have a badly behaved Shih Tzu and once I put some headphones on him and played The Prodigy Experience album at low volume and it calmed him down. I'm completely serious btw, it calms the little bastards down.

Weird, I thought they ate dogs in Korea, not dress them up in expensive geek bling.

@ 2
Huh.....why do I think that joo zoo came from a feeble attempt to put the words "jewelry" and "zoo" (or something 'animal' like).
Could have been worse though, could've been JooPoo (for pooch!).
@ 5 etc
Yeah Koreans eat dogs but only certain breeds.
It's sort of how Americans will eat turkey, chicken, peahens, peacocks (could keep going) but not parrots, canaries, or cockatoos. Maybe b/c the latter don't hav enough meat on them? And although we eat other birds it doesn't stop us from buying pet birds and crying over the movie "Polly."
It's cultural thing, I guess. Do I get 2 points for cultural sensitivity?
