Nov 19 2007Metroid Samus Costume Looks Good To Me
Someone with lots of talent made a sweet Samus Aran costume from Metroid. Then some beautiful lady with lots of talent modeled it. Damn damn damn. What was I just talking about? Something about something. Oh right, the costume. Damn she looks good in that thing. Something about that beam cannon arm does magical things to me. Is it getting hot in here? I think I'm in love.
Because I love you all (and I'm not getting you anything else for Christmas) I'm posting a bunch more pictures after the jump.

Ok so I did a little research. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to make sure there were actual places to back up my thoughts. The pictures, costume, website, and everything is Swedish. EXCEPT the model. The model is Japanese (clearly wearing a wig). If one goes to the gallery ( http://pixelninja.se/photo.html ) one can see these and other pictures, including of other costumes. Anyhow, the costume is neat, and the Japanese model is cute, but seriously when has anyone ever seen a Swede that looks Japanese? C'mon folks. This page ( http://www.swedishgirl.se/swedish_girls_vs_british_nightclubs/ ) shows pictures of Swedish girls (and compares them to british girls) both in nightclubs.

This is NOT a Japanese model. These pics were taken in Sweden. The photographer was Carl Oscar Aaro, a student there. Look it up. If she is Japanese, she is a mixed breed favoring her non-Japanese side.

I know it's been settled that she's both, but before I got to post #24 I was pretty sure she was Japanese. Um... I like most aspects of the suit. The only things that really need work are the main body chestpiece and the arm cannon. My friend and I are going to start a project like that and make the full suit as well.
Good job though! Those shoulder pieces look hard to do! :)
