Nov 5 2007Electric Cruiser Makes You Not Look Cool

The Electric Cruiser from Mademoto is a wheel that runs on a battery so you can pull yourself around when you're on rollerblades, roller-skates, Heelys, or whatever-the-hell else is out there. It's basically an electric scooter with nothing to stand on (and no cooler). I can't tell if that guy in the picture is about to fall or attempting some sort of trick with the damn thing. Either way, he's not looking too cool is he? Note: if you buy one and find yourself jogging behind it, you've probably missed the purpose of the product.

Holla,
Congratulations on posting first!
I think I speak on behalf of everybody on the Internet as I extend to you our most heartfelt applause and admiration in response to your recent acheivement.
No doubt the impact of this momentous occasion will be felt for generations and accross cultures. Songs will be sung; textbooks will be written, and there's a good chance we may see a "Holla@meh Memoria High School" or two.
Again, congratulations! A first post on some website's article about novelty kitchen appliances is certainly an event worth calling out and recording!
You may wish to bookmark this page so that you can come back, perhaps with your grandchildren, to relive this glorious day.
As for the Scooter thing, of COURSE it's cool! Didn't you see the flames on the front? FLAMES! Those are like liquid cool!

yes flames are cool but just like stickers don't make hondas faster flames can't make this thing cool. Besides is it me or do the flames look like they're facing the wrong way?

Boredom - Absolutely correct. It gets worse if you check out the source site (7gadgets.com) and see the picture of the front where the flames seem to be flaring IN.
Equally impressive was the site's description of the device: "This device help your roller skate ride."

I asgree it gets a lot worse checking out the site. Going one step farther didn't help either because as politically correct I tend to be I knew it had to be an Asian guy using it. Asians seem to come up with the wierdest electronics ever. I mean you wouldn't actually want to excercise when you put on your rollerblades.

I'll buy one of these the day I get my old rollerblades fixed and am able to power/skate away from the cool kids making fun of me with for having a helmet, face shield, wrist guards, arm pads, ball cup. if it was flat black, and had leather streamers hanging from the handle bars I'd eventually sell it on my site. Not until then. www.econiclife.com
