Nov 7 2007Dog Washing Machine Will Scare Your Pet

I know dog washing machines have existed for awhile, but this one is apparently the cream of the crop, costing over $30,000. Why does it cost so much? Hell if I know, maybe it's the color scheme. An operator oversees the machine closely to ensure your pet is comfortable during their bath. You can tell from those two pictures on the left that the dog is really loving the experience. No way is he thinking "get me out of this piece of shit this instant". No sir, this is like being pampered at a spa to him. Although -- notice how there are no "after" pictures of the clean dog out of the machine? Turns out when the wash was over he killed everyone in the room. Good boy.
UPDATE: Video added after the jump. Watch the last 1/2 for a cat going absolutely ape-shit in the machine.

I saw one of these for cats too. I don't know how this can be anything but traumatizing. I've not even really washed many dogs that didn't shake the entire time I was giving them a bath... and that's holding them, not locking them in a box.

Isn't this the same box from The Fly?

Hmmm, dogs Nazi concentration camp?

I can see this being used for evil. First the dog, then the kids, then someone will develop a giant commercial microwave (which means the hamster is next). Oh the horror.

I'm a pretty hairy guy..probably about as much as some dogs. I'd like to give it a go. Even though, after about a few of sitting with my knees in my face, soaking wet, I'd start crying uncontrollably. But I guess that's the price you pay for coolness.

lol. *opens car door at Octopus* "There you go! Get in there! That's it! Go get your bath"----10 minutes later--------*opens trunk* "Get in boy! Let's go home. No don't shake water on Mommys' car! No don't rub your ears on the pavement!"

#5: HAHAHAHA thanks for the laugh :D
That cat REALLY wanted to get out of there.. Animals are funny when they are being tortured.

why's it operated by Sinead O'Conner?

look at how miserable that dog looks. just look at it.

That cat looks terrified, hilarious....
It does look a lot like a gas chamber, $30k is really taking the piss. Considering its basically an industrial over combined with a fountain and a shower, I keep saying this but I could make one of them relatively hassle free.

#5, that video was awesome!

So not nice. Friggin hilarious to watch, then you remember that it is in fact an animal and that is in fact TORTURE. Maybe not for the Dog, but everyone knows cats just don't do water. its very mean. Funny for a minute, but just mean.

Now if they only did that for the smelly guy at work.
I'd pay money to see that!

The video I'd like to see is the return trip. Let's see if they can get the cat into the water torture device a second time!

Get a life! whats the harm in a dog getting wet for 4 mins. Its not gonna kill it. I bet none of these people commenting are vegetarians, and would gladly go home and eat a slaughtered animal. Then give out about a dog feeling uncomfortable for a few minutes, saving the rest of us from it s dirty stink.

Hey icweiner.... or comment number 9.. As I am an American, I take offense to ur comment. If you watch the damn vid, you will hear the voice, which is clearly NOT in English, therefore not American.. So, mr ic weiner, go suck a fat one.. :)

Sirs,
I´m spanish guy who invented the cabin few years ago. Unfortunatelly some people copy our original cabin making bad advertising, I don´t know why!!?? Is true that some cats can´t be washed in the cabin due are not to be used!!! By the other hand some dogs and cats likes the water and are completely relaxed in to the cabin. I tested myself many times and I can confirm that feel water rain and temperatures are controlled by computer, etc... We invite you to visit our site www.lavakan.cat and see our professional job.
Best regards,
Eduard
