Nov 1 2007Chair Is Very Cool, Takes Up A Lot Of Room

I've seen chairs like this before, but never on this scale. The Loopita, by designer Victor Aleman, is constructed from a single piece of red oak and covered with high density foam for your sitting pleasure. The picture above actually shows three units put together, each one alone is a single loop, capable of comfortably seating two people. No word if you can buy them, but I bet they'd be expensive anyways -- and great for my all-night orgies. What's that? You're calling me a liar? Fine --you got me, I haven't had sex (with another person) in years. My penis just told me if I don't make something happen soon he's packing up the balls and hitting the road.
Two more pictures after the jump.

Why wouldn't they show real people sitting in them? Is it for anime fans/characters only?

maybe it's just for really little people. Be fun to see if I can get things with wheels to go all the way around it though

They are beautiful but are they comfortable? It's just an expensive cat toy if you can't relax in them.

I bet some posh clubs will pick them up and that's probably where this belongs anyway, unless your house is club...or maybe your house CAN be a club, if you these chairs. Yeah, too bad the foam inside is white, I bet everyone's gonna step on it so they should make it darker, at least where the feet/shoes go.

Surprise me, had never seen an equal. It will be very relaxing sleep in that chair

appreciable design. this can be a good chair for childrens hostel or dormitory. it can be wider to compensate the length used by it, to optimize its usage..

Look uncomfortable actually, as you will not be able to relax with your head back. Both the white fabric and glossy finish on the wood look like they will be immediately and permanently marred. Very "cool" but very very poor design.

I'm not an expert but looks like a nightmare for people with bad backs... and could even cause bad backs/posture?
Lovely, innovative design ...but more for the eye than for the posterior, I think!

All this stuff is so cool and way out of this world. However, it sucks for some of us that can't afford these awesome things. For goodness sake I never owned an ipod. I personally visit this website to see all the kinds of cool stuff that the world has.
P.S. that twirly chair is confusing but interesting once you know what its for.
