Oct 9 2007Light-Emitting Wallpaper Is Cool, May Work

light-wallpaper.jpg

Jonas Samson, who may in fact be the homeless looking vagrant in the picture, has allegedly created light-emitting wallpaper. When in the 'off' position, you've got boring ass wallpaper. When 'on' you've got a funky tree or something and a bird. My only problem with this is, you know, how it works. Do you plug it in? Does it only turn on if you've done a bunch of acid? Is it really just being projected? Now I'm not saying it's a sham -- I'm just saying it's fake and doesn't exist. I want answers.

A few more after the jump.

give credit where it's due. Ralph Kramden came up with the idea for glow-in-the-dark-wallpaper back in the 50's

ok...but what does glow in the dark wallpaper have at all to do with an animated light irradiating wallpaper...if this is for real...its leagues beyond glow in the dark wallpaper...

The more I think about it, the more I seriously want this installed floor-to-ceiling.
Imagine the possibilities...I'd have a raptor silhouette design, just to scare off people.

This is amazing. Can you design your own? Is it animated or just a still image?

Quick poll then people, what would everyone have?

Think i'd have cool lettering which (if animated) wrote out ...errr...stuff...

(You could design some kind of ghost and turn it on randomly in kids rooms to freak them out)

If this is possible, TV wallpaper is just a step behind it.

You could run a montage like in Natural Born Killers or A Clockwork Orange!

And just think of what Halloween parties might be like... Superbowl parties... porn... hell this has endless possibilities.

Yeah, say good bye to blacklight posters.

I'd have it look like a pee stain as an excuse to beat little children that annoy me

is that guy stoned?

as fuck, Scruff, as fuck

#4 - Your mom, animated

Folks, it IS real, even better, we call it 'design', from Holland, so 'Dutch design'. Never heard of it?

Giant glowing cock silhouette. Great for when your friends are over, terrifying for the straight ones.
