Oct 22 2007Japanese Lady Produces Unique Camouflage

Aya Tsukioka, a Japanese experimental fashion designer, has developed a line of completely wack camouflage for crime worried citizens. The designs include soda and vending machines, fire extinguisher bookbags for kids, and even a purse that resembles a manhole (so you can throw it in the road if you're being pursued and not get your stuff stolen, just run over). I have no freaking idea who in the hell Ms. Tsukioka thinks she's kidding -- I can't imagine anyone but the blind falling for these things. And me. On a recent trip to Japan I spent over twenty minutes trying to figure out how the hell to use the Coke machine. Turns out it was a freaking woman! She stole my money.
A bunch more pictures of this wackiness after the jump.

Pay no attention to that fire extinguisher with stubby legs!

Quick hide under the paper thin Manhole disguise!

You throw that thing out as you dive into a manhole. The person chasing you will be confused and won't know which one you jumped into.
The vending machine idea is fine and dandy until you're foiled because someone wants a beverage. There's an idea- just stand there and take peoples money. Pretend to be out of order.

might come in handy. when hiding from Mothra. but not Godzilla - he's too smart to fall for those

I think the manhole one was like to put your personal belongings(like a wallet, jewelry) so when you are approached by a theif you won't have anything for them to steal. And they supposedly won't notice the manhole and go away.

Ummm, wtf? Ok, I'm being chased by a 'criminal' and I need to hide, so quick...jump into this ally, take my coke machine skirt, which I just happen to be wearing that day just for this type of occation, and waa laa...I'm safe from that band of criminals who are after me. Such a simple idea, I don't know why anyone hasn't already thought of it.
Genius.

The creator of this admitted these were way out there, but fun designs. They aren't really meant to be used in real life situation.
And LOL@ #5.

I never have the urge to harm other people. But if I saw someone camouflaging themselves as a vending machine, I'd have to kick their ass.

Look how jealous and envious people become (as illustrated in some of these comments) when somebody else thinks up a neat-o idea!
Ha!

watching too much scoo-bee-doo while having a designer's block (as to write's block) is the likely cause such ideas to become reality, i think it will make some revenue but wont become a trend for sure...god i hope not
