Dr. Lajos Nagy, a New York plastic surgeon, has created a surgical procedure to make your ears pointy. According to the doctor, who will now be known as Dr. Delirious, these are going to be very popular.
A newfangled extravagance is spreading amongst the music-lover youngsters of New York, which, after invading America, is sure to conquer the whole world. Ears becoming pointed as a result of plastic surgery not only enhance the attractiveness of the face, but also improve the experience of listening to music.
There you have it, straight from the horse's mouth. Now let's review the before and after pictures shall we? Clearly the procedure makes you dress a little nicer. It also enables the patient to make a more quizzical look. It clearly doesn't do shit for your crappy haircut, and it definitely makes your ears look like complete ass. Although -- I have always wanted to make love to an orc. Did I say orc? I meant elf. Elf lady. Elf Princess. Fairy. Like Tinkerbell. Just bigger. Okay with the wings and glowing. Penis not okay.

The thing is, the guys ear tip flops down, so he looks more like a puppy than an elf. Though, I'll admit, I have always wanted elf ears.

whilst this is possible, these pics are fake... on the other pics on the doctors website you can see they have just changed shirts....one guy even has razer burn in the same place!

People have done this for years already!
This page is so fake it's unbelievable. First of all, none of the jewellery / other adornments change, like bobbles, etc. Just a switch of shirts.
And If you look at the pictures, the pointed ears look exactly the same!

I don't think this is fake. Check out the surgeon's website. He covers other things apart from "faun" ears. Of course, it's feasible that someone could've made that entire site up but it doesn't look that way to me. If you want to check out the elf ears, go on Special Events and, "Be a music faun yourself". It's pretty funny how they justify looking like a total nerd by saying that it improves being able to listen to music. Whatever, someone's been playing a little to much WoW.

This hasn't been created by him - in fact it's believed this is a hoax. The body modification worl has been involved in ear pointing for a very long time, a lot of the pictures on that website look fake.
www.bodytwo.com (Run by the owner of BMEzine) will straighten that out.

haha. i think the whole elf ear surgery is real, but in this case its not. You can clearly tell by the hair. almost EVERYTHING about the hair is the same, down to the sideburns! I dont know about you, but i find it very hard to make the EXACT same hair style everytime. even after i had plastic surgery! haha. so this is just probably some good photoshop =)

The picture on the right is faked. Look at the patterns in the guy's hair (especially the hair behind his ear). They are exactly the same. The ass just changed shirts.... took two separate pictures and doctored one up to make it look like he has an elf ear.

Come on now, just because EVERY single hair on his head is exactly the same, and his beard and blemishes are identical in both pics doesn't mean it's fake. Ya never know, the operation could take only a minute or two and manage to not touch the rest of your head at all....

I wander how they affect your hearing, I'd think that sense of direction might be off and maby some low or high frequencies would be affected. This is why we have normal ears, because we evolved for hearing not to look like zelda or link. Besides, it would be cooler to have a removable (like an earing that attaches to the top of your earlobe) version that makes your ear pointy, that way you don't look like an elf 24-7

I think it's a personal choice, and no one should be ridiculed for having the procedure.
In my own opinion, I think it's cute! I was wondering about having it done, but I don't have the courage at the moment.

I hate to say it, but can totally recognize this as Photoshop. His hair is even combed exactly the same, same part, same tweaked. And unless this procedure can be done and healed in one day, is completely impossible. However I have seen legit procedures that do this and think it's totally awesome, but this one is not it.
