Oct 8 2007Interactive LED Coffee Table Lights Up

The Interactive LED Coffee Table, designed by Because We Can and Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories, is a coffee table with LEDs that is interactive. They are motion sensitive, and light up as you pass objects over them. When they don't detect motion anymore, the blinking slowly fades. You can purchase one for $1,990, or get a do-it-yourself kit starting at $350. I'm so glad these are available, because let's face it -- a coffee table just isn't a coffee table until it gives you a seizure.

Cool! I want one.

that'd be a sick beer pong table

#2, last thing we need frat guys doing is trying to look more ridiculous than they already are..... but thats a decent idea.

I think it was way more rad in concept than in reality. I was thinking it would have more lights and be multi-colored, like your own personal Freemont Street Experience.

jeeze, not very accurate is it? also, its lame

just listen to that music - the future is now people, THE FUTURE IS NOWWW!!

The fact that the cat was more intrigued by a dangling string than by the crazy lights really speaks volumes on the the whole idea.

i think it would be much more appealing if it had tinted glass

It's kind of hypnotizing..then again it's also 12:39 AM.
Anyways.
Why does that crazy hippy lady get one and not me?

these uncreative bastards could have at least covered the electronics with a nice, blue universe or something and let the leds shin through, so that we wouldnt have to see that puke colored surface anymore... then it would be sweet... i'd smoke up and look at it aaaaaaalll daaay

The makers of the table also offer a "frosted" cover which is plastic i believe, but it covers up the electronics very well
