Sep 5 2007Real Life Simpsons House

Fox and Pepsi got together and constructed a real life Simpsons house, then gave it away to the lucky winner of some contest. Sure it happened nearly ten years ago, but I had never seen it. The house is located in Nevada, and reminds me of my dreams when I've eaten fish right before bed. It's pretty awesome, and I'm going to have to make the current owner an offer they can't refuse. A roommate who drinks all day and doesn't clean up after himself.
A few more pictures after the jump.

Only in America could this happen... *shakes head*

I might go crazy living in that house.
Also, wouldn't the house have to dynamically change to accommodate all the gaps in the simpsons storyline?

Yes Ben, it did. Just like the original comments say it did. I can never figure out why some of you dill-holes will go straight from the picture to typing without even skimming the text to see if your dumb question was already answered from the beginning. jeez

AFAIK they removed almost everything Simpsons-like in this house after a while. So today you won't see it that way anymore. :-(

Don't they realize that it looks absolutely horrendous?

I actually took a tour of the house after it opened down in E. Las Vegas... not quite the hood, but close to 'Hendertucky' where time has officially slowed to a stop. House was a gimmick they did a giveaway on...

It's been made to look "normal". Why enter the contest to win it if you don't want to keep it like it was built. That's like winning the batmobile to make it normal. I don't know why they would put it here in Vegas anyway where everybody is an @ssh*le anyway.

Wow!! This is GREAT! I love the Simpsons. Why would you EVER consider burning it down? This is fantastic! I LOVE IT! haha A big thank you goes out to the people who modeled this house and for sharing it with everyone!
- Frankly people, it's irrelevant whether this house was torn down/sold or remodeled because someone actually brought the Simpson's home into life and the fans will always appreciate that fact. I definitely do. Look how meticulously perfect they converted their home into the Simpson's home. AWESOME JOB!
