Sep 25 2007New Bowl Allows You To Walk Your Fish

Design student Michal Shabtiali has developed the appropriately named Portable Fish Bowl. It's a fishbowl with a handle. Making it portable. See how that works? It's a concept piece at the moment, but after word gets out I imagine mass production will begin in no time. After all, if the batty ass lady next door can walk her damn cats (read: push them in a stroller), I don't see why you can't take your fish out for some fun. Just don't leave the poor bastard on the subway.

A few more after the dive.

I guess I'm first. Eh.

btw. this goldfish walker is ridiculous. it's a good thing that after eight minutes, the goldfish will forget the trauma he's been put through.

It's bad enough I have to take my dogs out for a walk, if my fish hear about this they'll wanna come too. thanks for making my life more complicated Michal Shabtiali, you bastard.

Well I for one walk my antfarm regularly, and by antfarm I mean masturbate, and by masturbate I mean masturbate.

How come i never come up with ideas like this to suck the money out of stupid rich people?

is that a man dressed as a woman, or a woman with "man hands". holy hell

This is so almost brilliant it blurts.

Now if said design student could come up with a way better then a .005 cent plastic bag to get your $40 fish back from the fish-store without dying; THAT would be an invention.

Forget about tiny puppies being used as an accessory, it's all about the $2 goldfish, man!

All I can see is someone walking by and extinguishing their cigarette in the bowl.... and #6 - ahahah!

The first person I see with one of these is getting stabbed in the eyes.

That's just wrong - ugly wrong.

Those are some seriously mannish hands on that goldfish walker.

uhm.. i thought fish didn't handle that kind of stress very well. when you buy a $0.43 goldfish they always say don't move the bag too much cause the fish stress to the point of death. so how the hell is taking them for daily walks good for the stupid P.O.S anyways? or do you just keep buying them since they're only $0.43 each...

#6 his legs r purty.

LAME!

From a practical standpoint - this could be really...really good. I recently moved - and was stumped about what to do with my goldfish/tank... this would have really helped with the sloshing. like, a lot. taking your fish on a walk is kind of really creepy..... but for transportation? if the water stays in the bowl.... i'm an utter fan.

this is genius! !

dude. i swear the person modelling in this picture is a man. look at the hands and size of legs. ahaha. is it just me? or does someone else see this?

The pictures kinda freak me out. The legs look fairly girly, but those hands... *shiver*

The fish looks kinda sick. :o

what the hell, fish can die from too much water movement. my fish almost died when i took him to my grandmas for her to take care of him.
JEEZ

Man, goldfish can't even survive very long without some sort of oxygen pumping into the tank. Don't you remember how at your cousin's wedding, in the middle of the tables, all those fish started to look pretty sad by the end, because they were DYING??

You could do guppies or siamese fighting fish however.

i like it.its makes me happy the idea about walking with my fish in the street.

what a dumbass idea. designer needs a few lessons on fish. really should have done a bit more research on fishcare before coming up with this idea. taking a fish out of its safe filtered environment to take it for a walk is one of the stupidest things ive ever heard of.

although thats conceptual product.its great one!!! i"ll like to have one of this!

Poor fish : (

i looooove this!
