Sep 24 2007Light Up Boomerang Makes For Cool Pictures
The Scimitar is a boomerang fitted with LED lights, designed by toy loving Eric Darnell. Although it's not the traditional boomerang shape, it's still pretty cool. And it makes for neat pictures if you leave the shutter open long enough. The only thing that pisses me off is that boomerangs are so damn hard to throw. Okay, I take that back. They're easy to throw, but freaking near impossible to have come back.

Actually, that looks pretty sweet in a good picture like that one. but god damn, doesn't it always come back? it's not like you'll have something original after the 5th picture...
oh well.. nice none the less..

Looks fair cool. But like "None" said, after the first few pics it'd be pretty mundane.
However, if it's night time, then you cast it into the sky, people will think there's a UFO or something overhead. =D

You'd get the same effect with a Nerf boomerang (from the 80s) if you set it on fire before you threw it.
