Sep 18 2007Guys Can't Drive Halo Warthog

The guys from Weta Works built a replica of the Warthog from Halo, and now there's a video of some dudes from Bungie driving it. No word on what was used, but it looks pretty sweet. The only problem is none of them have a damn driver's license, as is evident when they slam into the side of the building. I was kind of hoping the guy in the back would fly out and get run over, but today's not my day. I do want it though, and I'm gonna pull up to my neighbor's house and threaten to rain hell if he doesn't cut the damn grass and keep his weeds from spreading. Crazy old bastard.

I wouldn't call that a "slam" into the side of the building... more of a "brush against."

brush, slam, he still ran into a building. Of course he probably drives it just like he does in the video game.

Not sure what vehicle they built it on, but it is undoubtedly a diesel engine.

This model Warthog was built by Peter Jackson's Weta Works. The same visual studio that built the props and scenery for Lord of the Rings.

The jackass hitting the building is a Bungie (the studio that created Halo) employee.

This is just Viral marketing for Halo 3

they should get that master chief costume on ebay...

I don't think this is viral marketing for Halo3. I think those are all the Believe ads, with two more coming on the 25th and one more coming October 1 according to the interactive Museum of Humanity flash application they have going on right now.

But I think this is some serious pre-pre-production for the Halo movie that Peter Jackson is going to be doing.

All I can say is that I'd kill to drive that Warthog up Park Avenue in New York City.

OMG! I want one, for real. Drive around with a Master Cheif or two...good times.

That's pretty hot. You're definitely right #6. What if you managed to procure the warthog and the masterchief costume on ebay...

hey dad yeah its diesel dosnt the warthog have rear wheel steering though???

still holds no candle to the hot blonde in the samus suit
