Crayola, a company best known for those different colored snack sticks, has just released an audio ruler for kids. You roll it along and it leaves a trail of disappearing ink to ensure that you measured what you wanted. It will then tell you how long the distance was, in quarter inch increments up to a foot. A foot? That's pretty weak, for $8 I was expecting a little more. I was just about to order one too, to measure my ding-dong. I can hear it now. "Your ding-dong is three feet long and you should tote your balls in a wheelbarrow." No joke I should.

snack sticks!!! too funny!

ridiculous

A foot isn't long enough for what I'm measuring

Yeah, because just putting down a straight piece of wood, plastic or metal just isn't going to cut it with kids these days.

Or maybe my sarcasm is misplaced. Maybe modern kids really DO have the attention span of a goldfish with ADD, and need to be distracted with gimmickery. Next they'll bring out the Pokemon vs TMNT themed version of this thing with 7 LEDs and 3 selectable laser gun noises.

What a bunch of total tools.

Awww, you're just jealous because you never had one growing up!

I wonder what marketing person at Crayola approved the moniker "Total Tools" and if he/she was happy with their benefits package that month.

Actually it´s a scheme by the Social Services.
If you are stupid enought to buy one of these things for your kids, they will take them away from you.
They will be probably safer with Britney Spears than with you.

jew jit sue, that was hysterical.

Billy: How long is that paper?
Timmy: Dunno my ruler ran out of batteries...
Narrator: Due to technology humans are stupider than ever before.

the difference between conventional tools and "total tools"? any kid caught with one of these lame rulers will know too well the distinction.

ps I can't help but wonder if anyone ever even sees my comments anyway. Waste of time? Maybe...... but a release nonetheless.

i could have sworn Crayola was planning to give kids a razer

I have this thing, I really sucks. It never works right.
