Aug 28 2007Cell Phone Runs on Single AA Battery

AAA-phone.jpg

Willcom and Sanyo got together to develop this thing, a cell phone that runs off of a single AA battery. Which, with no screen or anything, doesn't seem like that much of a feat. I mean it only gets 5 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby. Now if it ran off brainpower, then we'd have something. Who needs caller ID or to store naked pictures of ex-girlfriends on your phone when you can have this thing. Which, I might add, looks remarkably like the "lightsaber" I found in my girlfriend's underwear drawer.

Its white, iPod design ripoff

Salt shaker?

Does it have vibrate mode?? Wouldn't put that stuff next to my ear after lending to the girlfriend.

Why does it have to be round?

4, its round b/c it looks exactly like the battery next to it.

This will be great once you modify the power supply. Once you can plug it into the wall and don't need any batteries, you've got yourself a winner. Someone should come up with one of those corded cordless phones. They must be scared of it's raw power.

How can it be that nobody during the whole design process came up with the comment: "Hey, this looks remarkably similar to a dildo."
Unless they are targetting the San Francisco area market, and they plan to sell it in sex shops.
Turn on the vibrator mode!!!!

What a POS, the inventors are a waste of oxygen and expelling to much green house gas just from breathing...

pretty cool if the phone didn't look like shit
