There is no hard mode. There is, however, a "get pissed off an punch the monitor" mode.
That has to be either the second or third time ever that I've shouted "F*** you, Oregon!"

I took me 28 minutes to do Easy, that's a personal best for me. But I can text msg the names of all 50 states in 92 seconds.
