Am I the only one who thinks the articles here are really great, but the guy who writes them and tries to be funny in every single post is NOT funny... He always talks about what he invented or what he did, but it's completely absurd and irrelevant.

#5, these jokes aren't exactly supposed to make you split your sides laughing.
They're just witty (Okay. That part is debatable) remarks the writer makes just to get his (I'm assuming all of the writers are guys? I may be wrong.) 2 cents in.
Besides. Humour is a very subjective thing.

I always thought that the writing in this blog was created by some collective of dumped Amiga and Atari ST computers that whilst festering together in some giant landfill - they fused together and then linked to the internet. Their just cynical and pissed off because we left them to rot on the 90s.
BECAUSE the reality is probably not worth thinking about... (story of my life)

Agreed with #1, not so much a cake as it is a mess of square cupcakes. Actually, to be a cupcake, doesn't it have to be round and in a paper...cup? Now if these were made out of brownies with some weird red frosting, then sure.

And #5; so I'm assuming you put in your application to write for Geekologie? I'm sure your sample pieces were as entertaining as Wilford Brimley explaining mathematical local class field theory.

(i'm #5) I actually don't want to stop reading this blog because, as I said, I love the articles. The only part that bugs me is the humor the writer uses in every single post. I guess it's part of his way of writing, but I feel it's sometimes unecessary.

Anyways, I was just trying to see if I was the only one who thought it wasn't funny... and I guess I am.
