Jul 10 2007Musipen MP3 Player

Chris Williams has put together a unique concept design for an MP3 player which is controlled by twisting and sliding the edge of the player. The Musipen (music and pen, get it?) moves away from current players and offers up an original but still highly usable interface. Although not nearly as original and usable as the MP3 player I designed. It's made out of fruit and you control it with your mind. I lost the prototype, but trust me, it was awesome.

They haven't released the specs on it? And are we supposed to just know who Chris Williams is? I've been too busy lording it over other planets to pay attention to puny Earth gadgeteers.

The name Christopher Williams may refer to:
Christopher Williams (singer), an R&B artist.
Christopher Williams (sprinter), an athlete.
Christopher Williams (artist), an artist and photographer.
Christopher Williams (Welsh artist) 1873-1934
Chris Williams (journalist), editor of the Scottish Daily Mail.
Chris Williams (actor).
Chris Williams (soccer), a Canadian soccer player.
Chris Williams, a comic book illustrator known as ChrisCross.
i'm guessing... the welsh artist. designing from the grave, don't cha know.

they sure have a way of making it look big enough to climb into, then fill it full of liquid nitrogen, and in 1000 years bring people back to life. ohhhh how sweet is that, i'll be here in 1000 years and rocking out to mp3's the whole time with this thing!

Um......how is this player that different from Sony's NW-S200 or NW-S700 line of mp3 players?
Looks nice n all, but the functionality described seems to be the same as Sony's line, which has been around forever now. =/

Your italicised 'I' looks like a forward slash '/' vs "I"

It is a forward slash '/'.
That's how my smiley's roll.

It's not an actual product, just a concept drawing.

that's actually pretty interesting.
The screen looks like it'd be awkward, though.

If I had one of those, I could walk up to, say an old man, and jam it up his anus easily. Or you could stick it in your dog's butt and say your whole dog was your mp3.

agreed with iii4playiii, sony has this interface since ages unknown. take a look at the cd and md players (cd and md OMG how old is that?) and their headphone controllers with lcd track display. they are just ripping off sony and beefing it up to a modern age of technology.
dont know what version this is, but here is a picture of the controller from a sony md player.
