This is a video of 1,500 inmates at a Phillippine prison practicing Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
1,500 plus CPDRC inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, Cebu, Philippines at practice! This is not the final routine, and definitely not a punishment! just a teaser.
So the moral of this story? The Philippine prison system has completely lost its mind. And it. Is. Awesome.

It's sweet to know that in the Phillippines, they also have prison transvestites. It brings back fond memories on when I did 3 to 5 for aggravated battery and I was comforted by my cellmate "Shelley."

I don't understand how they got hardened criminals and prisoners to do such a crazy choreographed dance routine~ These guys don't fit the stereotype of dancers, but that is what makes it awesome. They probably got them to do this by saying "dance and you'll get a 50% discount off of your term".

That is major win, seriously, I lol'd. They weren't bad! Some of the movements were a little slow, but hell, I can't/won't try the dance myself.

Aww geez, this is like that time in Catholic grade school in the Philippines where I had to (unwillingly) dance to "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" with my classmates. It was punishment indeed and no different from prison.
