Jul 19 2007Gold iPod Shuffle

I'll never understand why people insist on making things out of gold and selling them for outrageous prices, but German company Xexoo is doing just that, offering an iPod Shuffle made out of 18 carat gold for just over $19,000 (14,000 EUR). There's also a version with diamonds coming out soon, and each unit will be delivered in a wooden piano style box along with 24/7 support no matter where you are on the planet. And apparently this Xexoo company does this thing on a regular basis, as you can check out a variety of other gold iPod and iPod accessories on their website. But seriously, if you're willing to pay $19,000 for an iPod Shuffle I'm not even sure we're the same species.

Just what I need!

Finally something I can use my solid gold earplugs with without looking ridiculous!

I hate those Shuffles, anyways.
I'd much rather have a solid gold video iPod.

No, no, no. This is just horrible. Horrible. If you want an iPod at least go for the nano or mini or teenyPod or whatever with more storage. Jesus.

How is it even worth $19k? It doesn't have that much gold in it. Retarded.

The only people who buy shuffles are buying them because they are cheaper than iPods. They're not going to buy one for $19,000 because OH ITS GOLD.

it's stupid, shoulda made a gold nano.

but man does that thing look hot. so shiny, so golden.

Honestly folks...i think this is the best thing since the gold bond. I can tell you from personal experience, these things are worth every penny, I own three. I keep one in my poket, one in my car, and one next to my golden toilet.

That is just a ridiculous price. I goldplate ipods myself along with mobile phones, and cars....I would have to have taken leave of all my senses to pay that amount. Please feel free to check out my ipods etc at goldstriker.co.uk.
