I'll never understand why people insist on making things out of gold and selling them for outrageous prices, but German company Xexoo is doing just that, offering an iPod Shuffle made out of 18 carat gold for just over $19,000 (14,000 EUR). There's also a version with diamonds coming out soon, and each unit will be delivered in a wooden piano style box along with 24/7 support no matter where you are on the planet. And apparently this Xexoo company does this thing on a regular basis, as you can check out a variety of other gold iPod and iPod accessories on their website. But seriously, if you're willing to pay $19,000 for an iPod Shuffle I'm not even sure we're the same species.
