Jul 17 2007Fingerprint Wedding Bands

Jeweler Andrew English has designed wedding bands which are hand-engraved with the fingerprint of the partner so that they're completely unique to each couple. They're only available by commission and come in 9, 14 and 18ct white/yellow/rose gold and platinum. The bands are available in a number of styles with the fingerprint hand-engraved on either the inside or outside of the band. There's no price listed, but I'm assuming it's a bit out of my league. Although to be fair, a stale Funyun is out of my league.

If your penis imprint fits on a ring then maybe it's not something you want to brag about.

It just looks like your ring has smudges all over it.

Well this would screw over the classic story of a guy buying a ring for one girl and then giving it to another.

This is cool i guess, no one would see the print though, since it's on the inside.
and i have bought a ring for one girl and gave it to another. she said she loved this ring we both saw when we were shopping, two weeks later i bought it but for another girl. ha! suck it.

i like this idea, but the thing is, i have a white gold ring which has worn smooth on the inside when it used to be lightly patterned. so i think if you bought a set of these you might find your money wasted because the prints would wear away after a few years.

Ah, must say you have shared a very interesting news. I came across something similar some time back.

No, this is something that I contacted Andrew English about to query when looking for something different, but I was told that the engraving is quite deep and although it may start to wear after many many years it is possible to have the fingerprint engraving touched up and brought back to its former glory. I thought this was really good and I love these bands!

The fingerprint (or penis print whichever your into) can be engraved on either the inside or outside of the ring. I think its an awesome idea! The only thing is that I want to get a pre-existing ring engraved, and I'm kinda wondering if it possible to get the engraving colored.

Gosh, i've seen one too many of those fingerprint rings. Its a neat idea though. I hope it doesn't lead to identity theft....
