Piano maker Steinway & Sons has partnered with Lyngdorf Audio founder Peter Lyngdorf to create a new line of ultra-high end audio visual systems. Steinway Lyngdorf, as the partnership is called, is releasing the Model-D music system which will include a full set of speakers and a receiver featuring Lyngdorf's RoomPerfect automatic acoustic calibration system. Less than 100 will be available at initial release, and these bad boys are gonna cost $150,000 each. Which is perfect, because why pay for a house when you can own speakers instead!

Liquid Cool

"and these bad boys are gonna cost $150,00 each. "

I will be sure to pick a few of these up as they only cost 150 dollars.

*drools*
It's....beautiful.
I wonder how many organs I have to sell in order to afford one of those....
Do they pay people for tonsils?

this is old news.. i have had this system for over 3 weeks...get with the ball asshole.

and FYI, its worth every penny of the 150k asking price. you dont know how much cooter this thing has gotten me.! and only in 3 weeks time!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very unimpressed. I am currently being considered for a design and engineering position at Martin Logan. When they took me on a walkthrough of their facilities, I was amazed. All the mid range and highs are produced by their electrostatic panel. And they only make speakers. Home Speakers. The Summit retails for between $10,000 and $15,000 a piece. While there, I got to see their flagship speaker which sells for.....cue drumroll....One Hundred Grand. For one speaker. That is why I am unimpressed. I'm sure you all care.

I think I'd get them... but I'd be paranoid about them being shipped like that plasma TV.... then again, if anybody knows what the f*** they're doing, it's probably Steinway.

I agree with the Martin Logan guy. You go guy. Electro stats..... ugh.... beauteous! I am officially jealous of you. Designer? WOW

Though I wouldn't mond a Steinway grand either

Awesome. Now the high-class, discerning audiophile can blast shitty club music through a sound system designed by a piano company.

Can I get a "hell yes America?"

nice :)

Imma comment this 'cause it's the last entry on the page, and 'cause I can.

Argh. Someone please save me from this eternal pit called boredom.

You are 100% right cuz it all makes so much sense...i could sleep better now cuz god knows how much we all want these babies!!
