puzzle_table.jpg

This puzzle table was designed by Hsien Chang and was inspired by sliding puzzles. The grids can be designated to store different items and there are fitted baskets which can be removed for even greater convenience. To access the grids you just slide the dividers on the desk. The only problem is that you'll always have a square block missing from the top of your desk, and to get something from opposite sides you'd have to adjust the entire thing. Well that, or smash it in with a hammer. Which is what I do with all my desks. Drawers are for amateurs.

first post!!

Aghh. That'd be so confusing.
And what if you had a desktop plugged in? What if the wires wouldn't reach out far enough to be moved around?

Post #3, 4, 5, ... whichever I am. I have no idea why it matters to be the first poster. You guys/blog of goo are the lamest.

I meant blob, not blog. and Fourth! Woohoo...

"Blog of Goo"...I'd subscribe to that feed.

Stupid table is more like it.

Don't the artsy-faggot types have anything better to do than 'invent' this shit?
Don't I have anything better to do than comment on this shit?
Answer: Nope.

I really don't understand why someone would only post the word "first!" and have absolutely no other commentary to give. There seems to be a pattern of doing that on here, and I think I speak for myself and my penis when I say it is lame. It's cheesy to do it even when you have something to say following that word, I can overlook that, but when your only contribution of input to a thread is a single word indicating your chronological place in a new thread, well my friend, it's time to take up crochet, magic the gathering, or good old fashioned PCP.

i'd be more impressed with it if i didn't buy those pink basket things from target... i made my own furniture out of them and those wire cubes that you can connect together. i <3 post college life.

From the looks of it, the monitor part doesn't move, so it wouldn't affect a desktop. I think it's pretty cool, but it could cause issues if you don't have a wireless keyboard and mouse. Having said that, if you don't have a wireless keyboard and mouse, you're probably not the type of person to this desk anyway!

TWELFTH!!

Hmm that felt kinda good, probably because I rarely see twelfth as a word ... I should probably read more.

So this table... my parents had one like this and I loved moving the sliding tops along and pretending the table was slowly opening up to launch Thunderbird 2 or 1 or my sister's Cindy doll... occassionally she wouldn't get out in time... ah Halcyon days!!

"or my sister's Cindy doll... occassionally she wouldn't get out in time... ah Halcyon days!!"

Ahahaha. I laughed out loud on that one.

Can you actually buy this thing somewhere? Not that it really matters, it would probably be expensive as hell.
