May 15 2007LG develops super-thin e-paper

LG Philips has developed the world's first electronic paper. The e-paper is just 0.3 mm thin, and to be energy efficient the display only uses power when the image changes. And, like every other display ever created, marks another step in man's never-ending quest to find more ways to look at porn.

It looks like it will be tough to write on, like some kind of waxed paper. Does it refresh like an Etch-a-Sketch, or with an eraser?

ummm, i don't think you're supposed to WRITE on it . . . the "paper" part of the name refers to the thinness.

Yes, but maybe it's too thin to write on effectively. Seems like it would smear with standard dry-erase markers, so maybe it has some special ink to use?

So, you two are like a traditional newspaper? Not many people see those nowadays, they're all caught up in readin stuff online or with these fancy new e-papers that are hard to write on.
