Actually the cost should be 45 oz.=41.01563 Troy oz * current Asian market price of Plainum of 1327.4 $/tr oz comes to $54,444.15 plus manufactoring and tooling cost. lets round it to $55,000 toy. Sounds like a bargain.

Since the ultimate fate of most of my action figures was being melted anyway, it makes perfect sense. Of course, I wonder if a barbecue would melt platinum as easily (and entertainingly) as plastic.

I love gundam and when I saw they had released this apparently one of a kind figure I was absolutly amazed. Decals or not the thing is bad ass as it is. I'm just waiting for something like Char's Zaku II to come out in a platinum grade figure. Who knows they might actualy do it :p
