The Fun Slides Carpet Skates are exactly what they sound like: carpet skates. You put them on over your shoes and then start skating away. I imagine it to feel similar to skating on tile with your socks. Or skating on rainbows with your imagination.

How the freak does that work? "Space-age gripper louvers in front provide extreme acceleration" doesn't exactly explain it.
If I buy these I will totally buy the ninja outfit too and wear it all to work. Then I'll be that guy.

Who has that much carpet that they can get any good momentum up anyway? I'm sure that Capitol One Employees have them already, but anyway if it comes with the suit I am sold. Oh and a clipboard is a must.

I'm gonna have to take these to the carpeting store, roll some out into a half pipe, etc., and end up getting to sue the carpet center for letting me do it.

i got these as a gift for christmas either last year or the year before. i never thought to take them public but they are definitely a lot of fun. not gonna lie, ive taken a good few spills with these badboys

I wish I thought of this. Skates for people who hate skates with wheels. How often have you watched someone rollerbladeing and thought to yourself, "Yeah, I'd do that if you took the wheels off it"?
For all you extreme sports fans I've invented my version of the Bungee jump without the bungee cord. Step right up, and give it a try if you think you have what it takes.
