May 10 2007Family Guy vs Street Fighter
I can't believe somebody actually took the time to make this. Although they animated Peter Griffin well enough to make a Family Guy fighting game seem like it might actually work. You can skip to the end after the first fight and feel confident that you didn't miss anything important. Unless you consider repetitive animation and sound effects important. In which case, yeah, maybe watch the whole thing.

Sometimes in the shower I like to act like Luke Skywalker. I like to play out the scene where he's fighting Darth Vader with the light sabers except my penis is the saber's handle and a stream of piss is the yellow blade. I'll swing it back and forth, and I end up covering the shower in piss but I eventually win.
One time I wanted to see what it felt like to have my hand cut off like Luke so I used my yellow blade and pissed on my arm. It didn't work.

While, it's sad people actually think Family Guy is creative and/or funny. It's emotionally devastating to know someone spent who knows how many hours creating this.
Knowing that makes me feel like my kitten was strapped to a rocket that exploded and released a gas killing all the puppies and orphans in the world.

The only reason I wasted any of my time with this is because I just had to tell you all something. I despise Family Guy. Cheap jokes. Absolutely no character development. There is no emotional stake. Even in South Park you feel as if you actually know their personalities. Even care about them to an extent. Take for example Meg. Does she REALLY have a personality? Think about it. Sure you can say that she's depressed and boy crazy and all, but thats only because of her words, not personality. In contrast, Stan from South Park. They have really built a personality within him. He's the most run-of-the-mill character possible, but you feel for him, and understand him. He's so frustrated with life and can't stand how crap just seems to happen to him. In conclusion, Family Guy was alright at first, but now its just cheapening a mass of people's understanding of what real talent and quality is. Plain and simple. Sorry if you don't agree or are offended. But if you don't agree, then please tell me in what way Family Guy is intelligent?

actually it doesnt take that long to make it, thier using mugen and i already have both those characters on mine including atleast 400 (others) or more. takes me atleast 3 minutes to add 6 characters or stages. also that peter griffin's animations were hand made i guess sounds were ripped from the show. there is no other family guy character made that i know of. but i am on the hunt for the chicken. for more imformation on MUGEN go here-> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUGEN

Should there be any character development? It's a show made for laughs, not for emotional attatchment. Build yourself a bridge and get over it.
That was actually pretty well done. Also: I lol'd.

Family guy is f -- ing genius. I can't believe people are even debating this. K nuff time wasted on that.
The proof is in the game. I honestly think this is probably the most memorable geekologie post I've ever seen, this is thing is so so so cool, if given the choice between this game (playable) and a new Ps3, i'd take this game.

Family guy is the funniest cartoon in existence. Why does it require character development? What makes it funny is that the characters never do change, they continue to live senslessley for eternity, continually inflicting pain and suffering on themselves and others (this could be a critique on humanity itself by Seth McFarlane). Each story has so many weird asides that it makes absolutely no sense sometimes which is great because one never knows what to expect. If you would rather spend your time watching some gay show like friends where Ross may demonstrate character development by finally ceasing his little bitch attitude then go right ahead (does Ross ever stop being a little bitch? I don't think so and come to think of it, most shows don't have character development but I digress). Most shows these days are such crap because we have seen it all before. Family Guy challenges ideas about what is acceptable TV by always pushing the envelope. The show has had the balls to go where no one has before, or at the least shoves right in your face what other programs can only hint at. There is intelligent humour here as well as slapstick, both of which I like and I appreciate how the show mocks TV norms (teenage girls running to their rooms crying for something insignificant for example) and programs of the past. Finally, I like the show because Peter Griffin is me when I was 4 years old. Peter Griffin is most men when they were 4. So if you do not like Family Guy and you are a man (by gender) you were probobly the boy who maid daisy chains on the sports field instead of playing soccer. If you are a woman who dosen't like family guy, well, it wasen't made for your ammusement anyway so don't worry, but let your husband have his fun watching.

the fight was done with a game engine called M.U.G.E.N. (check youtube for loads more videos of really well done fights). Oh, and it's free, too, but it's hard to find now because of -gasp- copyright theft.
As for family guy, it rules the funny world.

I agree,I hate family guy.it is a desgusting, perverted show.i hate those who like it.the only good thing about the post was the street fighter sakura.family guy should never have been made.i know what people will say,but in order for a show to make sense you NEED character development(anime is a good example of character development).the smilling condoms, the fart-ish attack by peter, and the final animation of quagmire having intercourse with Sakura, they were all really inapropriate.

This isn't an animation. It's made using a 2D Game Engine Called winmugen.
