May 8 2007Blowing up 1 million tons of iron ore

Looks like we've got a competitor for Greatest Explosion Ever. I'm still placing it behind this one though, since there's no fire or shock wave. Or gigantic boner in my pants.

Now that....................... is damn sweet.

That was pure awesome sauce on a stick!

Still not as cool as the Death Star explosion.

Man, I can't believe they just blew up all that iron ore. They could have sold it to some steel making company for millions, but they just wanted a quick thrill. Now it's completely ruined.

Yeah, sure, they got close, and they got photos. But did they catch it? Did they hell! Thanks to their incompetence, that tornado is still on the loose, able to strike again at any time.

Yah, they coulda just mined it, but now all that iron ore became rubble. Rubble Waste! What were they thinking....

sweet fu manchu on that professional explosives plunger guy.i use the term professional loosley.

I thought he was the best part of the entire video.

There was so a shock wave.

I am enraged by your lies!

Sweet mother of all that is good and holy! That was so fscking awesome!

Blowing up solid iron ore wont make it magically transmute, its now probably easier for them to access and mine.
Explosives would be a lot cheaper then massive heavy machinery not to mention the running costs of so called machines :)

Indeed Epi, they probably blew it up so they could mine it easily. Now they just have to cart it out instead of excavating/drilling/whatever in addition to carting it out.
