Apr 23 2007Wine glasses that teach cooperation

other-half-wine.jpg

My Other Half is a set of wine glasses described on the site as:

A pair of wine glasses, which allows the liquid to flow freely between the two glasses. Because liquid finds it's own level, it flows down to the lowest glass. Users must learn to cooperate, to drink their wine.

Clever idea, but I think half the population would have no idea how to actually drink the wine. I don't even know how you'd finish a cup. One person would have to be standing on their head or something.

Check out shots of the wine glass being used after the jump.

Thiswill end up at Yale, or Harvard, as a fancy, rich-man's-beer-funnel. They'll pour in half a can of Amstel light at a time and say, "Woo wee! Muffy, look how much of this beer I can swill!"

Doesn't look like the guy is getting paid much for the make smile.

Make that "fake" smile.

Just don't fill two whole glasses or when the other person lifts theirs - you're screwed!

wtf is on her plate?

its a napkin.. and this is a ridiculous idea. i agree with the rich person's beer funnel proposal.

Why does that lady have a giant vibrator on the table?

The secret is to grab your partners glass when s/he's not looking, raise it far above your head, and use it like the wine equivalent of a beer bong.

The important part is to look natural when the other person turns back around and sees that the only wine left is trickling down your chin.

MobiusStrip:

Either that or he is just very drunk

one word: straw.

I like it so much, how can i buy it?

LOL! the thing on her plate is a folded napkin.
and to be able to drink the wine you would have to lift the glasses up at the same time because naturally, gravity pulls the liquid down into the lowest glass while the other is lifted. if you lift both up at the same time. you'll be able to drink it.
its a stupid idea for a cup though.
i'd just use a straw or something.
