Apr 12 2007Hamster-powered paper shredder

This hamster-powered paper shredder isn't real, but it should be. It's a design concept by Tom Ballhatchet and is perfect for people with documents so sensitive they not only have to be shredded, but also covered in hamster poo.

Seems like a great idea when you first glance at it. However, then you consider the inks and dyes in the papers ur shredding, and suddenly this whimsical dream machine becomes a torture device for your poor wittle hammie.. :$ Hamsters have very sensitive respiratory tracts, and the inks and dyes on "sensitive documents" could irritate them. Oh, and I won't even bother explaining the dangers of ingesting those inks and dyes...
sorry for bursting anyone's bubble... :$
