Apr 25 2007Creative lightbulb ad

clever-ad.jpg

This ad created for The Economist is designed with a motion sensor which lights up the bulb whenever somebody walks directly underneath it. Which could be disastrous. What if somebody walks underneath exactly as they're having a terrible idea? "Should I quit my job and become a professional cage fighter? My wife and family say no, but the shining lightbulb above my head says yes!"

delightful!

I have an idea.

And there's also the risk that Shaq will walk under it, bang his head, and sue the owner.

what if there is a rainstorm and u die? hahahha muahahha hahha!

Interesting, but not very enlightening.

That's pretty frickin' awesome. :')

Absolutely brilliant.

Thanks for the hilarious posts, Geekologie!

Ooooh, how'd they do that?

I have a feeling that magic has something to do with it.....and a large amount of filament

This is how the Matrix got started. First they use people to power light bulbs and then computers and machines!

Who walks that close to the wall anyway?

But what about the reverse. How would you feel if you were the one that walked underneath it and the lightbulb doesn't go off. That would suck.

Id rather want to see a high power beam of light shine down towards the person below it, blinding them.

thats a pretty cool idea there
